The base version allows for creating or customizing up to 30 items. To create or customize an unlimited number of items, a one-time in-app purchase is available.

The matching between barcodes/photos and items is done socially through the IntelliList user community. Initially, only a few barcodes/photos may be recognized. However, as more people use IntelliList, its recognition capabilities will improve.
